Brick Brick Brick!

Good News Everyone! 2000 red clay bricks, clean, no mortar, just magically assembled themselves into neat pallet stacks. They are NOT the old red clay clinkers, but the newer red clay bricks. $0.25 each. Borrow or steal a pickup truck and we'll forklift them right in.

Steve and Franck, two of our longtime customers, recently opened Passion Cafe. It's at 28 6th St. just off Market. They used quite a lot of our materials, they came, they bought, they laughed, they cried, and they obviously did a fantastic job with their project. Go buy a beer from them and sit on the roof patio, and then watch the cars go by.

Love and Pride

I was going to get Love and Pride tattooed on my knuckles, but then we got these light bulbs. These are slightly less permanent. We've got a few thousand of each of these, and maybe 200 with Buddha or Orchids. June is Gay pride month, and I think love is always in season (?) Anyway, buck-a-piece ($1). Tattoos are $125/hr.

Seriously, we have THOUSANDS of these.

Matthew has written a book! The Revolutionary Yardscape is finally available for pre-order on Amazon.

"A master of using reclaimed items, expert Matthew Levesque covers the basics of hardscaping, garden construction, and outdoor decor using local materials."

It's been in the works for a long time, and it's actually here. Well, not yet, we have to patiently wait until Oct. 21st.
